Kyere Abosom, Akua Donkor and others cleared for 2020 Elections

The Electoral Commission of Ghana has on Monday 19th October 2020 successfully cleared Presidential Candidates to contest the 2020 Elections after a thorough review process.

The ballot paper is going to register some individuals or parties that are making first appearance in presidential elections, namely Christian Kwabena Andrews “Osofo Kyere Abosom” (GUM), Akua Donkor (GFP), Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings (NDP), Kofi Apaloo (LPG), Alfred Kwame Asiedu Walker (Independent).

A total of 17 presidential nominations were filed and out of that 12 have been cleared by the Electoral Commission to Contest in the 2020 elections. This means 5 other nominations were disqualified by the EC on various grounds of illegalities and have been reported to the police.

I think
